LvL 15 solo farming (no this is not 55hp...)
Well I was in bad need of money to get better armour to beat the doppleganger and didnt have any elite skills capped yet. so I remembered i had zeolots fire and made good use of it.
ps. 55hp monks are too expensive and are going to get nerfed bad, so instead of wasting my money I made a alternative method that would suite best my skills (and income =)... lol i dont even have that kind of disposible income...).
Start of mergoyl farmin' :
middle of mergoyl farmin':
end of mergoyl farmin':
*NOTE: Mergoyls are not the best or most effective way to farm (that would be minos outside ice tooth...)*
Skills:
Reversal of fourtune
Protective spirit
Bane signet
Smite
Zeolots fire
Balthazars spirit
Essence bond
Divine boon
Attributes:
Smiting: 8
Protection prayers: 8
Divine favour: 6
Method:
First cast balthazars spirit, essence bond then divine boon to supply you with energy and healing. once you get close to a group use zeolots fire, protective spirit and reversal of fourtune. keep spamming Zeolots fire, Reversal of Fourtune and Protective spirit until the group dies.
I am currently farming Minio's outside ice tooth. I can take up to 3-12 at a time because less than 3 gives me energy problems...

i tanked the dopple easily at lvl 18 with mostly ascalon armor except for hand wraps... its all in skills... i had 12 protection magic and 10 divine, i think. and i pwned him. at the end, i had 537 health (vital blessing) because i kept using reversal of fortune, guardian, protective spirit, and shielding hands over and over again while he rarely used reversal of fortune or shielding hands. its definetely not the armor, m8.
but very nice, i must say.

Mergoyles are a blast to farm when you are low level, you can do this with just about any character from level 10 and up. My favorite is doing it with an MM at like level 6 haha.

Well that Does sound a little over rated and well you are correct ty for the post but do you really think they'll do that to nerf a perfect character that takes skill to use? MM was differant they were over powered and now they are perfectly fine but thats my opinoin and i don wanna start anything so once again ty for the post

On the old Doppel, my monk used 2 skills to kill him at level 11.
All you need is Mo/N. Suffering + Reversal of fortune and let the degen take care of him.
That's what I did atleast.

How would they nerf 55's? Easy...
Protective spirit: For X seconds target ally cannot lose more than 20% of their maximum hit points from a single attack or skill.
Wouldn't work, the effect isnt great enough, and it wouldnt even nerf them, just make them harder to use.
Protective spirit: For X seconds target ally cannot take more than Y damage from a single attack or skill.
Simple, it would destroy most 55 builds, yet not the effect of prot spirit as anti spike. And protective spirit would no longer serve as shelter from massive DP.
However, there is the issue that early on, players will not have the effective attribute level to use protective spirit effectively, however there are many spells like this.
That or just keep protective spirit the same, and just add a condition that damage cannot be reduced by more than a certain value.

Hes a wammo with HEALING BREEZE at that. Most warriors beat the dopple in 15 seconds or below (I find it to be the easiest Dopple by far), so 50 seconds is quite disappointing. Please take your classic W/Mo feeling of invincibility somewhere else. +_+
